IEM World Finals groups released
With ten out of twelve players qualified, last night the groups for the Intel Extreme Masters World Finals have been drawn. SeriousRazer will be represented in the World Finals by Alexey 'Cypher' Yanusheuski and Maciej 'Av3k' Krzykowski who secured a first and second place during the European Finals, recently held in Cologne, Germany.
The tournament, scheduled during the Cebit 2010 convention from the 2nd until the 6th of March in Hanover (Germany), will consist of two groups with six players each. The number one finishers of both groups will qualify directly for the single elimination playoffs, the numbers two and three of both groups will play against eachother to determine the other two semi finalists.
With all the big names of QuakeLive participating, and awaiting the last two qualified players from the Asian Finals, we can look forward to another worldclass tournament in which the players fight for a total prizepurse of $20.000. Here you will see an overview of the two groups:
