One of Warcraft III's fans most beloved events is making a return: Replays.net's Stars War competition in China is "reborn" and currently has several qualifiers underway to determine which players will compete in the famous tournament. All three active members of the Serious Gaming squad have entered these qualifiers and are in the running to join the ranks of the Stars War elite.

Dong Hwan 'viOlet' Kim is competing in the South Korean qualifier where three players will earn a place among the stars. Having been seeded in Group A, viOlet is showing his worth so far as he sweeped his group clean and defeated all three of his opponents, WinNers, kimkihyun and Gyunah without dropping a single map. A eight person double elimination bracket between viOlet and kimkihyun, WhO, Check, Lyn, SocceR, Myth & ReMinD will now be played to determine which Koreans will join Moon in representing Korea.

Serious Gaming's Nikolaus 'SonKiE' Cassidy& Hjalmar 'DowaQ' Högberg have both been invited to join the "European" qualifier where they have been seeded in group C and D respectively. SonKiE is joined in his group by ThomasG, LucifroN & HasuObs, DowaQ will be facing DeMusliM, VortiX and Reignofdark. This group stage will be played between the 7th and 14th of this month.
