Av3k and Cypher successful in online cups
Every weekend two online QuakeLive cups are organised. On saturdays the GDATA Cup takes place, and on sundays the ZOTAC Cup is played. This weekend SeriousRazer players Av3k and Cypher managed to win them both.
For many top player these cups are a good way of testing their current shape and as practise towards an upcoming event. With the Intel Extreme Masters Global Finals ahead beginning March, both SeriousRazer participants to these finals have shown their good shape in last weekends cups.
On saturday Alexey 'Cypher' Yanusheuski won for the second time in succession the GDATA Cup. With an average ping of 85 Cypher still was able to dominate the tournament, only giving up one map in the semi final versus Gareth 'GaRpY' Marshall. In the final Cypher dominated Marius 'Guard' Ivanauskas to win 3-0.
On sunday Maciej 'Av3k' Krzykowski aswell as Cypher participated in ZOTAC Cup #18. Cypher reached the final giving up one map versus Reaper, and Av3k did the same, only without giving up a map. In the final Av3k was just a little stronger to beat his team mate Cypher with a 3-1 overall score.
