Today we are proud to announce a new addition to the StarCraft II division:  Dlovan “Dlovan” van den Bosch. Dlovan (P) is an experienced RTS gamer with a background in StarCraft, DotA as well as some limited experience in WarCraft III & Heroes of Newerth. He has history with several members of the team through shared experiences in Heroes of Newerth ( Kevin “RotterdaM” van der Kooi &  Jos “Zerter” Buijvoets played the game) and he was present and took second place at the first live Dutch competition (Mad Processor tournament at Amsterdam) featuring StarCraft II at which  Lennart “SushiLicious” Roest (4th place), RotterdaM (3rd place) and Zerter were also present.

We feel that Dlovan is a talented, creative and social player with great potential in StarCraft II. He may have competed at some level in other RTS games; but he kept it at an amateur scale and never considered “going pro” before. He has expressed an interesting in doing so in StarCraft II and we look forward to seeing if we can make that journey together.

Obviously this requires hard work and dedication, but with Dlovan we hope to have added another player alongside the already successful  Johan "NaNiwa" Lucchesi, RotterdaM and SushiLicious that we can see grow as the game develops.  Dong Hwan "viOlet" Kim and  Nikolaus "SonKiE" Cassidy also are still members of the division, both have been invited to several WarCraft III tournaments however including their regional BlizzCon qualifiers so they are currently not active in StarCraft II.

Alongside this new addition we would also like to express a goodbye.  Patrick “DaBoO” Bolleboom has left the StarCraft II squad saying he would rather play alongside friends. He informed us of this some two weeks ago at which time we were already considering a request from Dlovan to join. We felt we would rather bring the changes at the same time which is why we’ve waited this long with posting an official announcement. We wish him best of luck and hope he finds his place elsewhere.

Statement Dlovan
Serious gaming is a great team with great history and achievements in multiple games. They have build quite the name for themselves. I met some of the players at a LAN tournament in Amsterdam and the atmosphere is great, the players are cool and you feel the team spirit!

Serious has great goals in StarCraft 2 and I have absolute confidence in them being a major team in the future. I feel honoured to join such a renowned team and I will do my best to help build the Serious legacy in StarCraft 2.
